Here's a a little bit about our going gridtied. And you're right about washing the panels off. Dust from our gravel road affects the output.....

We just went grid intertie and within a day the solar panels were dusty. We had a slight sprinkle which seems to make it worse. How are you and anyone else reading this cleaning those panels. I'm thinking about a water fed pole to reach them and DI water cart because we have hard water and it seems water spots will be counter productive. Detergent should not be needed I wouldn't needed with DI water.
